Two Rainbow Road at Past and Present in West Jefferson, NC

I officially have my own special place for some of the crafts and furniture I've made. Past and Present is an emporium of antiques, vintage, and not-so-vintage items located in downtown West Jefferson, NC...the coolest, artsy, interesting little mountain town.

Do you see some of the pieces of furniture from earlier posts?  In the first picture, do you see the chalk paint side table from here?  And, of course, there is the piece that started in all-the blue dresser with the twine rope drawerpulls.  

And look at those pendant necklaces-I'm still loving those.  You can see more on them here!

I even made a sign!  I'll have more on how to make lettering on wood later...looking at it now I think I might need to lighten it up some..hmm...it looked so much brighter in -well- the sun.  Go figure...

Also, if you have been reading, here is a photo of the oh-so-awful piece that was transformed into an aqua and green piece of awesomeness!!!

So, there you have it!...and why do I show these photos...besides so my husband knows I really am doing something... (love ya, honey).

It's because I am doing something I love! AND stepping out into uncharted territory...

...and living....and loving every minute.

And living-really living- is what this is for me...it's just too much fun.  The kids get in on it, the neighbors stop by to see the progress...and hey! It's homeschooling in its purest form!  gotta love that!
