It's Christmas In July in West Jefferson, NC! There is something about fresh mountain air and small town charm. Fiddlers, parades, live music and dancing in the street. And the shopping! As a local artisan I am blessed to share some of my furniture and jewelry and whatever else I'm imagining up at Past and Present.
Past and Present is a locally owned antique and artisan shoppe in West Jefferson and is a perfect example of what makes this town so wonderful, eclectic, artsy, family-centered, and one-of-a-kind.
It is two full levels of artisans' hand-hewn tables, Stick brand products, hand-crafted jewelry, chairs, tables, antique armoires, dressers, and everything in between.
The owners are the most friendly, down to earth people you'd ever want to know, and they have gone out of their way to ensure the highest standard of unique, quality artisans. And it is this, the quality and variety, that sets Past and Present apart from any other place I have ever been.
